Last January we visited Gili Islands, and from the first eye we fell in love with this inconsistent and the same time delightful place. The first thing that you can see after your feet touched the Gili Air’s sand is the main square….and the beach. From first look it seems that it is busy time of the year, but it is not. When you step a bit further, you can realise that not many tourists in the island. The busiest time of the year for locals is June, July, August. So, if you are visiting Gili Air in January time, you are lucky enough to enjoy empty beaches, cafes, restaurants, and to get discount for accommodation.  If you love to walk, Gili Air Island is the best vacation destination for you. The most enjoyable street to walk along is one which is closest to the seaside. There you can find o lot of cafe, restaurants and shops with local goods. Escape to tropical paradise Gili Air is the best way to celebrate Christmas and a New Year. There you will find different corals instead of Xmas decorations on the trees, and sea-shells salad under your feet…
